Michigan’s only Challenger Learning Center to launch with a public event on April 30

AIAM is excited to announce that our member, St. Clair County Community College (SC4) and its Experience Center will celebrate the official public launch of the Challenger Learning Center at SC4 on April 30, 2022, with an event on the College’s Port Huron, Mich., Campus! PMBC Access and Certification Grant

The PMBC Access and Certification Grant is designed to break down barriers preventing Michigan businesses from winning purchase orders. The program has three objectives: Increase supplier access to local and global procurement opportunities Improve competitiveness in advanced manufacturing for Michigan small businesses Enhance supplier capabilities and open doors to new industry verticals Up to $15,000 in assistance is available to offset 75% of pre-approved expenses per fiscal year. AIAM Member News✈️: Triumph Group has announced that it has been awarded a production contract extension with Boeing Commercial Airplanes to continue the manufacture and supply of hydraulic and actuation systems for Boeing 737 MAX, 777, 777X, and 767 airplanes.  The contract extension covers critical equipment and components utilized in the landing gear actuation, nose wheel steering, engine cowl door opening, brake, hydraulic, and slat control systems.
