She Innovates, She Leads: Inspiring Change for a Sustainable World is a program aimed at inspiring high school students to learn about the diversity of amazing careers in Michigan and encouraging them to connect their passions to pathways that contribute to sustainability!
The She Innovates, She Leads program connects the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals with STEAM careers, showing how innovation in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics drives global progress for all.
Recent Events
She Innovates, She Leads hosted a table at the Michigan Science Olympiad Tournament in March 2025 & 2026. Students learned more about sustainable jobs in STEM and met the professional women present to share more about their journey and passion for STEM.
In addition, She Innovates, She Leads featured at LIFT Manufacturing Camp last year, and hosted an in person panel event for highschoolers at GVSU’s Design and Innovation Center in 2024.
