AIAM TO HOST AEROSPACE LUNCHEON AT MAKINO IN AUBURN HILLS

AUBURN HILLS, MI, May 7, 2019—The Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (AIAM) Board of Directors and other industry experts will be on hand at an upcoming luncheon to discuss the unprecedented growth taking place in the aerospace industry with developing supply chain and innovation opportunities. The event will be at Makino’s technical center located at 2600 Superior Court, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 from 11am-2pm on May 13th.

“Michigan’s dominate aerospace supply chain sector must be informed on a regular basis of the latest developments to keep pace with industry demands,” said Tony Vernaci, president and founder of AIAM. “We are hosting this event in hopes of not only providing a networking opportunity, but to also stress the importance of innovation in the supply chain.”

Sponsored by Oakland County Economic Development and Community Affairs and Automation Alley, the event will kick-off with a networking session and move into lunch coupled with guest speakers from the industry and presentations. Topics include information for companies considering entry into the global aerospace industry, how to expand an existing industry network, certification requirements, risks to be considered and industry trends. There will be a Q&A with AIAM board members and subject matter experts open to all in attendance. The program will conclude with an opportunity for follow-up networking and closing remarks.

AIAM organized this event as a platform to, help companies in the aerospace industry discover opportunities and expand their business.
